Verity Systems Launches Panther: The Unique, Bulk Ink DVD/CD Inkjet Printer15th July 2008 :- Verity Systems, leading manufacturers of CD/DVD disc publishing equipment, today announced the launch of the Panther direct-to-disc inkjet printer, bringing professional print quality to the high-volume, disc publishing market. Built in partnership with Hewlett-Packard, the Panther printer utilises the very latest in HP inkjet technology and features an incredible 4800dpi print resolution, superior print speeds and individual, large-capacity ink cartridges enabling the Panther to print 1500 full-colour discs on one set of cartridges alone. Superior Print Quality With a 4800dpi print resolution and 4 colour printing, the Panther delivers incredible photo-quality graphics for truly stunning printed CDs and DVDs. Using HP technology to create a superb quality finish makes the Panther stand out from other printers. The Panther uses specialist Verity Systems cartridges, manufactured by HP and featuring genuine HP inks, enabling the Panther to deliver vivid, lifelike colour and crisp black text. Faster Printing Speeds The Panther can achieve print speeds of up to 25% faster than other inkjet disc printers due to its extra large print heads. The large print heads cover more of the discs surface at any one time resulting in a faster deposit of ink and therefore faster print times. Increased-Capacity Ink Cartridges Due to the Panther’s individual ink tank calibration, printing discs has become more economical. User can change the individual CMYK ink cartridges based on usage which means zero waste. The increased-capacity cartridges (69ml black and 28ml of each colour) offers users a very low cost per print, in the region of just £0.05/€0.07 for a full colour print, making the Panther more affordable and cost effective to run than other disc printers.
